This project provided an opportunity to speculate about the affects of urbanization on the human race. The abundance of light in a city at night drowns out the stars and our connection to the universe. A contemplative practice and a source of ancient infatuation, the stars once were a source of mythology, a navigation system, and the first calendar. To mimic the stars that are now lost due to the need for light, the project proposes to use moonlight to reflect on a curved surface inside a chamber, mimicking the ancient dance of the stars.
